Many new patients come in with a specific problem or concern. Most are very straight forward, while some are unusual and require detective work. Often, the key to identifying and solving a patient's dental concern is by forming a partnership with open communication. Most patients are unfamiliar with dental jargon and do their best to explain their situation. It is my job to listen and decipher their input into sound dental terms. From there, I must explain things back to the patient in terms they can understand, while educating them at the same time. No two patients are identical; their dental needs are unique. Often times, dental problems can be solved through a number of different treatment options. There are pro's and con's to each option which need to be explained in detail in a way that doesn't confuse or overwhelm the patient. I am trained to give the patient what I consider to be the "ideal" treatment. Through this initial diagnostic phase, my job is to educate the patient well enough about their situation so they can make their own informed, educated decision about how they want to proceed.

As a Board Certified Prosthodontist, I find the general public to be confused with the degree of services my practice offers. As a Board Certified Prosthodontist, I provide treatment within my specialty such as, but not limited to: Complete Dentures, Partials, Crowns, Bridges, and Implants. Additionally, I function as a primary care dentist offering treatment within the Prosthodontic specialty, as well as general dentistry and routine treatment with my hygienist.
